If people give more and tend to be less hateful, there would be less violence and more acceptance (not just tolerance) of other people’s differences and flaws. The world will certainly be a better and much brighter place to live in. While it is encouraged, it certainly isn’t forced on others. Charity is often a voluntary act of compassion towards other people and not something you do forcibly. With the billions of people on the planet today and the unequal distribution of wealth too, it is not uncommon to find millions of people suffering from hunger, poverty, violence, and all sorts of crimes. But we can make a difference in their lives if we learn to share what we have no matter how little it is.
